To ensure the success of the project, CORE-ED ACADEMY employs three key strategies. First, it uses the DACUM (Developing a Curriculum) approach in workshops that bring together employers and labour market experts to identify the most relevant skills needed both now and in the future. Second, it conducts structured public hearings that involve civil society, researchers, and public authorities. These hearings are instrumental in establishing five Balkan Research Centres for Correctional Pedagogy, which will join the “LiberateSkills” Pact for Skills. Lastly, the project fosters peer learning and mentoring between higher education staff from Western Balkan countries and two additional Balkan nations (Romania and Greece). This collaboration ensures that the research and educational strategies developed are tailored to the specific needs, cultures, and socio-political contexts of the Balkan region.
